<content type="html" xml:lang="en-US" xml:base="http://www.firmthisfanny.com/">&lt;p&gt;Ugh .. I have been this exact weight every Wednesday for the past 3 weeks. Weekends are trying sabotaging me. Or I am sabotaging myself on the weekends. I just lose all control and have a 'what the hell' attitude. Since I am less than 10 lbs from goal I really think I need to focus on exercise. I am hoping that exercise, along with my same eating plan of low-carb and intermittant fasting that I will make it there. My goal was to be 138 by Saturday but I'm not so sure I'll make it there since I screwed up over the weekend.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Today I did the Firm's Calorie Killer. Man I am out of shape - big time! I am doing the beginner modifications. I figure if I kill myself I won't want to do it so I am getting back into the swing of things slowly. I created a rotation based on the Firm's 90 Day rotation. I would like to use all the DVDs that I have. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Here is the hair color and style I want. Mine is still a bit short for this since by big chop in August but I'm close to it. I'll post pictures later.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

Today I finally have an appointment to get it done! I found this great tiny little salon that recently opened up in my town and I love the stylist (so far). There is a bit of a problem with this place. They don’t accept credit cards for tips. Is that not just crazy?!?! Who carries cash anymore? &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.onlinecheck.com/"&gt;Credit card processing&lt;/a&gt; has become my lifeline. We buy EVERYTHING with a credit card and rarely – if ever – use cash. That doesn’t help us too much at the gas pump either since cash is cheaper than credit.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Anyway, I’ll post pictures of my new hair soon! I’m so excited!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

I did great all week last week then comes Saturday and my sister comes up to visit. We got into a huge fight last year and went almost a year without even speaking. We have only recently made up so since she came up here to visit me and my sisters hung out. 3 girls get pretty day and drink all day. Fun but man I am paying for it on the scale! &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I need to focus on the weekends and not ruin all my hard work during the week. I am really going to try to focus on exercise in order to lose this last 10 lbs. I'm back to doing Firm videos! After not doing them in a long time they are kicking my ass!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

Wasn't a very good weekend with eating. Major binge on Friday night then just ate crap all weekend. I've spent the morning beating myself up so now I'm ready to just make a plan and stick to it. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Back to Atkins induction .. I am hoping induction will get rid of some of the cravings I've been having for bready and sugary things. If I can stick to induction for the next 2 weeks I'll allow myself a free meal on October 19th. My sister is running a race down at the shore so we will go for pizza and beer afterwards. It's hard work watching all those people run!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Today&lt;br&gt;B: Coffee (2)&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;L: 4 slices bacon, 1 scrambled egg&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;D: Chicken and a salad&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Exercise: None - I was planning on walking but it was too cold for me. I'm such a wuss. Tomorrow I have to start doing the Firm workouts! Exercise has been a huge problem for me lately!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

I did fine on the fasting day but total binge-fest on the eat days. I can't tolerate those extremes ..so back to the tried and true.. 2 meals, no snacks, no 'white at nite'. I had an aweful eating weekend (great otherwise). We finally made up with my sister (after a year!) so we spent the entire day hanging out eating and drinking and catching up. Today is back on track. Yesterday I only had 1 meal but had a small calzone. I was so tired from the day before.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I'm just going to try to post quick regarding the days food/exercise. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Today&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Lunch (ate at noon): 3 slices bacon &amp;amp; small bagel&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Dinner: chicken &amp;amp; salad. I'm going to try a new recipe!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Exercise: None. Back on my walks tomorrow!!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

I walked this morning for about 20 mins (running late) and did 20 wall pushups and 20 squats.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I was a bit nervous with today being my first fast day but so far so good. I am having wine on my fasting day .. I'm not giving up my cocktails - no way no how. I feel like I can make it until bedtime without food. Tomorrow morning is waffles though! The hunger pangs went away with a lot of crystal light and not thinking about this. Listening to Eckhart Tolle helps tremendously! Focus just on this present moment.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I made it through the whole day without eating! Actually, wasn't really that hard. Yah me!!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Went to bed about 9pm.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

I have managed to get my average weight to around 140. This summer I pretty much maintained (maybe lost a lb or 2) which is good for me because I usually gain in the summer. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;To be honest I am a bit sick of low carbing. It is so hard for me to fit into my lifestyle and when I do have carbs the scale jumps around so much it messes with my brain. I like low carb and I am sure I will go back to that way of eating after I reach my goal weight of 135. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I lost most of my weight (around 30 lbs since last November) by doing low carb and, I guess you would call it Intermittent Fasting. I would eat 2 meals a day, no snacks and low carb. As I got closer to my goal I started adding some carbs in for my first meal which was about 12 noon everyday. For dinner I try to keep it low carb. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Now I have been reading about Alternate Day Fasting. I lost a bunch of weight in the past through fasting and I am going to try this plan again. I will briefly post my eating (or lack thereof) and track this process. I am modifying a bit because I have to eat on Saturdays since my husband and I have 'date night' every Sat. I will fast Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on Sunday eat light and/or low carb. The &lt;a href="http://www.eatqod.com/index.htm"&gt;QOD DIET&lt;/a&gt; is where I first read about this but I have found a ton of info so I'll post as I find stuff. I don't have a lot of time to blog anymore but will try my hardest :)&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

&lt;p&gt;I just didn't have "it" in me last week. I lost my diet / exercise mojo and then came Memorial Day weekend - forget it. I ate 'normal' (i.e. carbs) all weekend so I pretty much maintained at 144-145 but my goal for the month was to get to 140. Highly doubt I'll make that one! I am not bashing myself for it though. I have set a goal of 135 for July 4th so if I stay on track I should get there. I am doing Atkins Induction so that I get into ketosis and lose this hunger and water weight. I keep telling myself that the first few days are the hardest. Summer is the hardest time of year for me too - BBQ's, cocktails outside on the deck .. torture!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I didn't workout last week either. I had my period and I was tired! A lot of pressure at work last week and I just didn't have it in me. Oh well back on track as of yesterday. I did Jiggle Free Arms yesterday and Maximum Body Shaping is in store for today - actually after I finish this post I will be down there working out. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Does anyone have any suggestions for mentally getting through the last 10 lbs - I just feel like I'm losing steam and thoughts of&lt;strong&gt; &lt;em&gt;I look good enough now keep entering my head&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Oh I was down 1 lb from yesterday - 144.5 today ... &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

I feel miserable and don't want to workout. I am just exhausted and hungry! I had some snacks yesterday of saltines and had some pasta with my dinner. I made the best meat and gravy from a recipe I found online. I will try to find it again and post the link - I threw out the recipe last night after dinner. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I am trying to learn a new responsibility at work (yippee more money / hours) but it is a bit stressful. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I have been doing this thing lately - since I have about 10 lbs to reach my goal. I do this thing of if I am up on the scale I am really good that day but if I have a good weigh-in day I tend to just have an 'I don't care' attitude. It seems like I am self-sabotaging myself if that makes sense. I am so freakin' tired of dieting. I have lost 30 lbs since Thanksgiving - I know that isn't a fast lost but I have been depriving myself the whole time. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I am not working out today and I didn't workout yesterday. I just don't feel like it and I am a crampy bitch today .... this sucks!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

&lt;p&gt;UPDATE: I found the link for the &lt;a href="http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/42/Beef_Cubes_and_Gravy16021.shtml"&gt;Beef Cubes and Gravy&lt;/a&gt;. I didn't have red wine or tomato paste so I just used a small amount of tomato sauce and water in lieu of the wine. Even my husband liked it and he usually hates my cooking!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
